One of the projects that holds a special place in my heart is the North Park modernization. Being part of the team striving to deliver it in record time was more than just a professional challenge — it was a deeply human experience. Throughout the process, I witnessed an extraordinary level of generosity, commitment, and empathy from everyone involved — from the contractors and engineers to our partners at the DSA. In moments of pressure and urgency, what stood out most wasn’t just the speed or skill — it was the compassion, the willingness to listen, to support one another, and to go above and beyond for the shared vision. It reminded me that the heart of our work in the AEC world isn’t just in the structures we build, but in the people we build them with.

When I began in 2018, Pacific High School and San Gorgonio High School were still in the design phase. Seeing both campuses fully transformed—from conceptual renderings to completed facilities—has been a remarkable experience. It’s truly an honor to have contributed to their development.

The project I feel most connected to is the San Bernardino High School Auditorium Renovation. It was the first site visit that stirred something deeply personal in me – a genuine sense of joy and inspiration. As an enthusiast of historic preservation, I was in awe of what our team accomplished. The renovation strikes a beautiful balance between honoring the building’s rich history and incorporating thoughtful, modern improvements. It feels like a living story, one that will continue to be told for generations to come.

I was directly involved in managing the Pacific High School CTE Transportation Building, designed to support high school students pursuing certification in automotive technology. I oversaw the construction to ensure it met both industry standards and educational goals. As someone who strongly believes in the power of hands-on learning, this is a project I feel deeply connected to. I’m proud to have helped create a space where students can gain real-world experience and earn their mechanic certification.
